Various Control Strategies Performance Assessment of the DFIG wind turbine connected to a DC grid

This paper deals with the integration and control of doubly fed induction generator-based wind turbine (DFIG-WT) in a DC grid. In this way, stator DFIG-WT is integrated grid via an uncontrolled diode-bridge rectifier as well buck converter to provide flexible connection path. addition, rotor exchanges power through rotor-side (RSC). By considering system topology, three strategies based on flux-oriented vector are developed for RSC converter. The schemes consist outer inner loops proportional–integral (PI) controllers. Additionally, stability their dependence generator parameters evaluated compared using modal analysis numerical simulations MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. Finally, real-time hardware-in-the-loop emulation-based OPAL-RT 5600 accomplished assess performance superior method from practical perspective.
